ABOUT

 

 

 

With twenty years of practice in Landscape Architecture, Eleanore is proud of her multi-faceted experience and project portfolio consisting of engaging environments for residential, commercial, and public properties.

 

Eleanore began her career at Vollmer Associates, LLP (now Stantec Consulting). For 6 years she was a designer for various urban park and streetscape projects located within the five boroughs of New York City and Long Island.  Clients included the New York State Department of Transportation, New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, and the New York City Department of Design & Construction.  Notable projects include West Street Promenade South and West Thames Park along Route 9A in Lower Manhattan.

 

Eleanore spent her next 8 years as one of two Senior Landscape Architects at Granoff Architects, an award winning multi-disciplinary Architectural firm in Greenwich, CT.  At Granoff Architects she lead the designs for both private commercial and residential properties. She enjoys all aspects and phases of design and believes that interacting with other creative professionals is often critical to execute highly detailed designs for functional and beautiful environments. 

 

Currently, she is practicing as a Landscape Architect and Owner of Eleanore Z. Montefusco Landscape Architecture, LLC. 

Eleanore is a Registered Landscape Architect in New York and Connecticut, holds CLARB Certification, and is a Member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Her firm is MWBE Certified in New York State.

 

Eleanore's personal interests include art, photography, nature, travel, and cooking.
